convert DX to EX

I have a very good question for you
I own a 2003 VW touareg with a BLAUPUNKT TRAVELPILOT DX RNS2 navi system.
Is there any way to convert it so it can play DVD apart from CD that is doing at the moment and if there is can i do it myself???

The only alteration (with a chance to succesfull completion) you may perform is converting it to scrap!
You cannot change de CD player to DVD player, the connections are different and the firmware in the computer prevents you from using the required software for the DVD
About the subject of your request: Conversion of DX-software to EX is absolutely impossible

I got the message I think I have to live with it for the rest of my life.
The reason I was asking is because I have a 5 years old daughter who gets restless during our long travels.So if it is not possible to play DVD for her is there a way to install aTV tuner that uses the present navigation screen?
