The request is imho probably that he would like to have a program that is able to generate source code from the original software. Reverse engineering is likely to be the objective.

We cannot and will not cooperate with these illegal activities.

Reverse engineering is not illegal !! If one party reverse engineers and makes instructions. The other party can without having knowledge of the original code create and make new code based upon the given instructions.

Without reverse engineering linux wouldn't be where it stands now. Love to give kvin a dump but haven't got a Becker carminat BE 7412 and besides that I don't know how a dump can be obtained from these devices, because there is no pheripheral device or i/o port from which a dump can be extracted, to my knowledge.

Please read the content of the licence agreement on the disc and you will discover and subsequently agree that it is illegal indeed.
